My interest in telling stories can be traced back to my youth, but one pivotal moment happened when I was 15 years old. A local sandwich shop had a video contest, inviting others to submit their best videos about the beloved deli. I borrowed a camcorder from a friend to craft a story highlighting the shop’s best sandwiches and uploaded the video. A few weeks later, I was delighted to find out that had I won the contest along with a $500 check. I used that check to purchase my first real video camera and the rest is history.
